Terms of Service for Business to Business Agreements & Work Engagements

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our Products, Services and Consulting Services.  

By using our Products, Services and/or Consulting Services, you are agreeing to these terms.

Payment Terms

The fees quoted in our proposals do not cover administration fees, time or expenses for any additional activities your organisation may require of us that is not needed for us to operate outside of the agreements we have with your company/organisation, or other out of pocket expenses incurred in connection with the client’s business e.g. room bookings, printing, hiring of equipment and costs of support services. 

 

These costs will therefore be charged in addition to our fees.

Mileage undertaken on behalf of business for the client will be charged at a rate of 0.45p per mile.

The proposals agreed are based on an estimate of reasonable time involved in the provision of services to the client but are subject to amendment/revision.

As a UK based company all invoices are raised in Sterling (GBP). Any exchange rate fluctuations or bank fees for payments made from outside of the United Kingdom are the client’s responsibility and may be charged accordingly.

Invoices may be issued before commencement of work and payment in advance may be required. 

Payment is expected 10 days from the date of invoice.

Late payment charges apply.

Cancellation and Postponement

We reserve the right to charge for any cancellation or postponement of work on the following basis.

  • Where work has already been carried out on instruction from the client and completed in good faith, which for any reason becomes redundant.
     

  • Time for meetings and/or delivery of services allotted by the client to conduct work which then is not utilised by the client due to cancellation or postponement.
     

  • Work cancelled or postponed at short or no notice, which cannot otherwise be utilised by LIFESEXPERTS.
     

  •  We would consider anything less than 7 days notice as short.

Cancellation & Postponement charges

The amount of cancellation fee is calculated as a percentage of the total fee based on the following:
 

Period of Notice:

Over 60 days: 0%

30-59 days 20%                       
7 - 29 days 30%                                   
0 – 7 days 50%

 

Postponement:

Any delivery postponed up to 14 days prior to the event that is rebooked at the time of postponement will not levy a cancellation charge.  Every other instance will be considered a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply.

One-to-One for Companies & Organisations

In addition to the provisions detailed above, the following will apply in respect of the provision of mentoring services on a one-to-one basis:
 

  • Any re-scheduling of mentoring appointments must be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the planned appointment, otherwise, the full fee for that appointment will be payable.
     

  • Any missed appointments will be charged at the full fee, in addition to any travel expenses incurred related to the appointment i.e. room booking charges, mileage expenses etc.
     

  • One-to-one sessions timings start as per the made appointment. Lateness on the part of the Client is lost time. Lateness on the part of the Educator is compensated back to the Client.

Other conditions

All information gained during an assignment regarding the business activity of the client will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Copyright on any reports, information or intellectual property produced by LIFESEXPERTS remains the property of LIFESEXPERTS.

Interest at the rate of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions will become payable upon any items outstanding for more than 7 days of their due date of payment.

This is additional to any other means of distress for obtaining payment available to us under normal procedures of law.
